Who owns Frigidaire freezers?
Electrolux Group owns the Frigidaire brand. Its Midea agreements create selected manufacturing and sales joint ventures; they do not transfer the entire brand owner. [1] [2]
Is Frigidaire freezers made in China or the USA?
These sources do not support a blanket claim that Frigidaire freezers are all US-made or all China-made. The full model’s origin label is needed before publishing that claim. [1] [2]
Same factory, different label
Frigidaire and Electrolux share their corporate group. Anderson’s conversion to future top-load laundry is not evidence that today’s Frigidaire standalone freezer comes from that plant. [1] [3]
Where was your washing machine made?
A company address and a country of manufacture answer different questions. Start with your exact model.
- Locate the rating plate without removing panels or moving a heavy appliance.
- Record the model, serial number and any country-of-origin statement.
- Ask the manufacturer about that exact unit if the plate does not state an origin.
