Manufacturing includes a confirmed outside partner: Flex Ltd. took over Orangeburg, South Carolina, production in February 2025 and continues wheeled products under a long-term Husqvarna supply agreement. [1] [2]

Is Husqvarna mowers made in China or the USA?

US manufacture is documented for the Orangeburg program, while the group operates internationally. The reviewed evidence does not establish that every Husqvarna mower, robotic mower or lawn tractor is US-made. [1] [2]

Same factory, different label

The Orangeburg agreement shows a brand owner purchasing production from a separate manufacturer. It does not establish identical designs with other labels, and the corporate name Flex Ltd. alone is not evidence of a relationship with a similarly named power-tool brand. [2]

Where was your power tool made?

A company address and a country of manufacture answer different questions. Start with your exact model.

  1. Find the model and serial number on the tool’s rating plate.
  2. Read the country-of-origin line on the tool or original packaging.
  3. Match the exact model and production date to the cited record.

Husqvarna mowers milestones

  1. Confirms Husqvarna brand and Forest & Garden business, global manufacturing in about ten countries, completed Orangeburg divestment, and third-party manufacturing strategy. Downloaded and read after browser size-limit failure. [1]
  2. Effective-immediately divestment of Orangeburg, South Carolina manufacturing to Flex Ltd., which continues wheeled-product manufacture and handheld assembly for North America under a long-term supply agreement. Date heading and annual-report completion corroborate 2025 despite the release footer’s apparent 2024 typo. [2]
  3. Describes lawn tractors with cutting decks and names Husqvarna AB in conformity declaration for TS112/TS114. Does not identify a model-specific assembly plant. [3]

Questions people ask

Who makes husqvarna mowers?

Flex is a confirmed maker of Husqvarna wheeled products at Orangeburg. The TS112/TS114 manual separately names Husqvarna AB as the responsible company; neither document assigns every mower or tractor model to that factory. [2] [3]

Husqvarna AB is the listed Swedish group parent and Husqvarna is one of its main brands. Selling the Orangeburg manufacturing operation to Flex did not transfer the Husqvarna brand. [1] [2]

Where is husqvarna mowers made?

Orangeburg, South Carolina, is directly documented as a manufacturing site operated by Flex under contract. The annual report describes a wider international production network; a Swedish corporate address is not a model origin label. [1] [2] [3]

Husqvarna’s manufacturing network and Flex for the transferred Orangeburg wheeled-product operation; engine makers are separate suppliers. [1] [5]

Who makes husqvarna riding mowers?

Orangeburg, South Carolina, USA is confirmed for the transferred operation. The 2024 report classified the site’s assets for sale and the 2025 report confirms completion. [1] [4] [2]

Are husqvarna lawn mowers made in the usa?

US wheeled-product manufacture is documented at Orangeburg. That evidence does not support a universal US-made or China-made label for every Husqvarna riding mower or its engine and components. [2]

Who makes husqvarna riding lawn mowers?

For a particular lawn tractor, distinguish the Husqvarna brand from the factory operator. Flex took responsibility for Orangeburg manufacturing under a supply agreement; the mower’s own model records are still needed to establish its exact build site. [1] [2]
