RomaniaThe Oradea milestone identifies a Snowproof 2 winter tire; the report also describes manufacturing partners, whose individual product assignments remain Unconfirmed. [1] [2]
Who owns Nokian Tires?
The 2025 report identifies Nokian Tyres as a separately listed tire company headquartered in Nokia, Finland. This page concerns tires, not the Nokia mobile-phone brand. [1]
Who actually makes Nokian Tires products?
Own factories make passenger and other tires, while manufacturing partners complement output. The report explicitly keeps sensitive partner identities undisclosed, so a named supplier for every outsourced product is not public in the reviewed sources. [1]
Where are Nokian Tires products made?
Oradea began deliveries in March 2025 and produced its one-millionth tire that December; the milestone product was a Snowproof 2 winter tire. The company also identifies Nokia and Dayton as operating production locations. [2] [1]
Is Nokian Tires made in China or the USA?
US production is confirmed at Dayton, alongside Finland and Romania. The Russian sale was completed in March 2023, so old Russia-heavy manufacturing descriptions should not be used for the current business. [1] [3]
Same factory, different label
Vianor is the group’s tire and maintenance service chain, while manufacturing partners are a separate supply relationship. Neither the service network nor Finnish ownership establishes a shared factory with another retail tire brand. [1]
Where was your tire made?
A company address and a country of manufacture answer different questions. Start with your exact model.
- Read both sidewalls for the country-of-origin marking.
- Record the complete DOT tire identification number and date code.
- Check the specific size and production batch rather than another tire from the same brand.
