Sentury Tire Thailand made the specific Mohave Crossover batches in the April 2024 federal filing; the complete current maker roster is Unconfirmed. [1] [2] [3]

Who actually makes Mohave tires?

The federal recall identifies Sentury Tire Thailand for Mohave Crossover tires in three listed sizes produced April 23–30, 2023, DOT week 1723. This establishes the maker for those batches and does not establish exclusivity for every current Mohave model. [2]

Is Mohave tires made in China or the USA?

The reviewed batch evidence is Thailand, not a claim of US assembly or an all-China origin. Discount Tire’s US retail business does not establish where every Mohave tire was manufactured. [2] [3]

Same factory, different label

The recall lists several tire brands under the same manufacturer for a specified production week. That historical overlap does not prove identical designs, permanent exclusive sourcing or shared production for every current product. [2]

Where was your tire made?

A company address and a country of manufacture answer different questions. Start with your exact model.

  1. Read both sidewalls for the country-of-origin marking.
  2. Record the complete DOT tire identification number and date code.
  3. Check the specific size and production batch rather than another tire from the same brand.
