Is Speed Queen washers made in China or the USA?

The reviewed US residential washer brochure supports Wisconsin production. It does not establish an origin for every Speed Queen commercial machine or every export-market model. [2]

Same factory, different label

Speed Queen is part of Alliance’s laundry business. Sharing a corporate manufacturer with other Alliance labels does not establish that residential Speed Queen and commercial machines are identical. [1]

Where was your washing machine made?

A company address and a country of manufacture answer different questions. Start with your exact model.

  1. Locate the rating plate without removing panels or moving a heavy appliance.
  2. Record the model, serial number and any country-of-origin statement.
  3. Ask the manufacturer about that exact unit if the plate does not state an origin.
