Who owns LG washers?

LG Electronics Inc. is the company behind LG washers; LG Electronics USA is its US subsidiary. [1]

Is LG washers made in China or the USA?

LG has documented US washer production. That does not make every LG laundry model US-made: these sources establish the Clarksville examples rather than a global country-by-model catalogue. [1] [2]

Same factory, different label

The Clarksville industrial development announcement names LX Pantos and Shinhung as suppliers supporting LG locally. It does not identify them as manufacturers of complete LG washers, nor establish shared machines with another retail brand. [3]

Where was your washing machine made?

A company address and a country of manufacture answer different questions. Start with your exact model.

  1. Locate the rating plate without removing panels or moving a heavy appliance.
  2. Record the model, serial number and any country-of-origin statement.
  3. Ask the manufacturer about that exact unit if the plate does not state an origin.
