Who owns Kirkland Vodka?
Kirkland Signature is Costco’s private label. Ownership of the retail label should be separated from production, bottling and importation of the two vodka varieties. Costco’s 2025 sustainability report describes its private-label sourcing; it is not a supplier contract. [1]

Who actually makes Kirkland Vodka products?
SFGATE contacted LeVecke about Kirkland American vodka in August 2023. March 2024 reporting links the domestic Fairmont name to LeVecke and separately identifies Distillerie de Gayant for French bottling. Those records support dated relationships, not an exclusive current distiller for every bottle. [3][2]
Where are Kirkland Vodka products made?
The 2024 report places Fairmont/LeVecke’s domestic production and bottling at Mira Loma, California and French bottling at Douai, with Misa Imports in Dallas as importer. Importer location is not a distillation location; French bottling does not by itself prove every upstream spirit source. [2]
Is Kirkland Vodka made in China or the USA?
The reviewed reporting distinguishes American and French vodka. It does not support China manufacture. A US corporate or importer address should not override the country and producer information on an individual bottle. Current distillation and bottling assignments are Unconfirmed. [2][3]
Same factory, different label
The 2024 report rejects the popular Grey Goose relabeling claim and points to Grey Goose’s own denial. Similar taste, French water or bottle pricing is not evidence of a shared factory or identical spirit. [2]
